Includes a dock to connect with your laptop
The laptop dock allows you to store the keyboard of the laptop under the DDJ-S1. Since the laptop screen is nearby, you can easily monitor the DJ software or track information while DJing.

New Hot Cue Fader Start functionwith Serato ITCH 2.0 to expand DJ performance
The new Hot Cue Fader Start function allows you to start playing a track instantly from five(5) random points using the crossfader. Returning to the Cue point instantly, using the crossfader to start playing track will allow DJ to expand performance capabilities.
Connecting the controller only requires a USB cable, so you can start DJing by simply plugging in
You can connect the controller to a computer with just a USB cable, so you can truly “plug and play”. Since all of the buttons and knobs have already been assigned DJ software functions, you can easily start DJing without making any complicated settings. Furthermore, the controller can be powered by the USB port of a computer.*1

Enables DDJ-S1 to control the sample player [SP6] that plays back 6 independent audio samples.
Choosing sample control mode from the GUI, users can play [SP6] audio samples or switch the bank by SHIFT and HOT CUE buttons.
Enables users to select two Sync modes
Users can choose either Simple Sync Mode (BMP Sync mode) or Smart Sync Mode (Beat & BPM Sync mode) to suit their DJ play styles.
